    im a WoWzer...

after 2 years of rediculing my freinds about wow and listening to a closer freind of mine talking about wow and how great it is all the time, and after watching the south park episode.... yep. I signed up and now playing..
I play on the Rexxar server as Xuxai (horde)

about to setup teamspeak and get some pvp action going or somthing..

theres soo much to learn and so much to explore its crazy and i'll probably just get frustrated and quit..

and so i made a bet with my freinds that i wont get addicted after the 10day trial period is up.. who thinks i can make it without getting addicted?
so i guess this is the beginning of the end??

I don't think I'll get into that game. The addiction factor is only one of the reasons. I like the blow shit up rambo type FPS's. Kinda looking forward to 'portal'. Looks like a cool concept.

I have a lvl 43 Troll Shadow Priest on Darrowmere. My brother, friend & his gf, Dan, and me all play, we made some friends and made a decent sized PVP based guild. Its quite fun.

I would've liked it more if the game didn't have 95 different servers. It sucks to get halfway through the game and realize you have 10 friends scattered across different servers.

As Jake mentioned, he and I play on Darrowmere on the Horde... if any of you are looking for a good server, this one's only about 2 months old and it's not out of control yet. We have vent and a guild, too.

Majority allow transfers. Just not between PVP and PVE.

It would be nice if they had an hourly rate charge and everytime you log on and off, it tells you how many hours you played and what your card is going to be charged.

I don't play enough to make a monthly charge worth my while.

I think I have given it up (again) for good this time. I am not easily addicted to things, but I find myself losing track of time and spending large sessions playing this game.

If anyone is interesting in buying an account pm me. I will sell it relatively cheap to active members.

    60 undead priest
    45ish orc shaman
    32ish gnome warlock
    various other lowbie chars

    The warlock is fairly rich.

got bored of it and uninstalled it.
graphics sucked, and the fact that theres just too much to do and too many people to talk to annoyed me... too big of a game for me.

i guess mmos just aren't for some people. in my opinion wow was a relatively small mmo, maybe just because they made it pretty easy to play, or just because other mmos are way more complicated.

it seems really large at first but once you have played a while and played a few different characters, wow is a relatively small...

...but i applaud you for not sticking with it! i'm addicted but not terribly bad. i still go to work and spend time doing other things. i just always want to play it lol

Well because of my job, I dont have much of a social life anyways. So it works out. I dont mind spending alot of time playing WoW, as long as I dont skip work to play all is good.

Of course its boring after 2 days. You were probably, what, level 5? If that?

The game doesn't really open up and the player-to-player communication doesn't really start until Level 30 or so. After that the game is total crack.

The trial blows. There's a level cap, you cant trade items or money, and theres all sorts of other crazy restrictions. I almost DIDN'T buy the game based off of my impressions of the trial.

Good luck Torx. I just hope you'll be able to tell if/when you're playing too much.
