Its kinda just like a regular dip, except far better for you
falafels, there fried orb's (or sometimes patty's) that are made from spiced fava beans/chick peas
Man, I'm a retard. I thought the other part of the plate was the falafels.
I apologize for wasting everyone's time with my posts lol.
thats ok, i used to think that falafels was just a retarded word for waffels
Edit: So are those "meatballs"?[/QUOTE]
No, they're falafels.

Yes!!! The problem I have is that baba ghanoush is pretty heavy stuff so I can't eat a lot of it. What I usually do is have them give me half-hummus / half-baba ghanoush, then rice with falafels and pita bread. They have a good greek salad there, too.
The best taste ever. Except maybe falafels.
The best texture ever. Except maybe falafels.
but why is there an oil pit in the center of the hummus??? That's unhealthy!
I guess it's the way they serve it. Lots of olive oil. I soak it up sometimes. Often it's not as oily either.
Olive Oil's not unhealthy, the opposite really
haha yes! I had falafels the other day and they were way too soft You need that perfect balance of soft and crunchy.
Don't worry, I've tried it from all over the continent and Vancouver really does have the best.
This is true. Olive and fish oils are probably the best fats you can get.
I've smoked in 7 countries, 4 continents and BC bud is the best Ive had.
it's not off course (per se).
But why soaking hummus in oil? It's already fat enough (from the beans). Oil is fat and there's no need to consume that much in a meal. That's why I said it's unhealthy.
One of the ingredients of hummus is olive oil. I think they do put too much oil in it sometimes though.
Yep, I know. But shit, no need to make an oil pit... that's way too much and disgusting IMHO.
At first I tought it might be lemon juice. But the texture was too oily.
i'm going to eat falafels again today...
I ate there Thursday and Friday. I could eat there again today but I think I'm sticking to my "1 week without falafels" plan.
I've never had a falafel, I ought to
You're missing out on the best things in life.
Niether have i, and that's definately on my "bucket list".
thank heavens for falafel Tuesday's!
Today I had:
Plain iced tea
Red chili sauce
You had cabbage salad and hummus?
It was extra good today. I think the ingredients are freshest on Tuesdays because this place is closed on Monday.
Edit: Tweak3D has become a blog to discuss our lunches apparently.
Haha, if we're talking lunches...
I had a chicken pesto with whole wheat farfalle. A bit tangy, and it made me pretty gassy later on
I really don't like tabouleh to be honest. Must be the raw tomatoes.

We just ate there again today. I don't know if I can keep doing this. That's 4 times in the 7 days.
Today is a big day. We're going off the reservation so to speak
