It sounds good, but I haven't tried it or many Koshers like that. A lot of people wonder why I got away from baking as a trade. W4ell, I was taught in the kosher skilz and methods. The bakeries were blessed by Rabii and it was truely an artfull way of earning a living. When i went to work as a union journeyman, I was appauled at what the big chain stores called "baking". It felt "dirty" to open up a pre-mix and add water and be done. What you get at chain stores is not, in any way, "made-from-scratch". The union got weakened and eventually broken by the chains and I got out of it. I miss Kosher Baking.

I think I'm gonna have to come down there for a weekend and learn baking from you. It's definitely a skill I want and need to have and something I'm afraid of.

It's only an 8 hour drive too

What's this all got to do with humus? Well, I've tried most things, but humus is not one of them. i'll have to break down and try some, that one picture has me very, very hungry.

Do you guys have New Seasons down there? They might be limited to the Portland metro area, but their hummus rocks.

Also, the falafel place they're referring to owns :O

    Ummmmm......nope. This here's the backwoods. :-D
There is so little available here. Even 30 miles away in Medford, the pickins are pretty damn slim. I'ts gotten where i won't even waste the time looking for specialty items of any kind, I just order them online. i'll keep my eyes peeled for a "New Seasons" though.

Few years back me and 2 of my friends from the team were in New Delhi. We had Aloo Chana Chaat (Aloo is potato in there language). It was very good. I would have never guess that even the small shops at there railway stations make such dam good food.

    Except Mondays.

Yesterday was actually falafel day... today is Indian food I think. Either tomorrow or Friday will be falafels again though. I should post pictures of my lunches out in this thread.

You guys should cook your own food! Get a stove installed in the shop and make your own shiz.

Or hire me as your personal chef and I'll move down there
