    Falafels are sometimes made from garbanzo beans as well. I prefer the fava variety though.

    fatty? eh not if well done! You get only the fat from the beans, which is good fat.

    I don't know about the hummus you can find in the USA, but well, the traditional recipe is quite healthy!

    Back on topic though, I remember watching Iron Chef America and it was battle Garbanzo beans. It was a cool episode.

    I ALWAYS have hummus in my fridge. It's fatty, but it's the good kind of fatty. Beats putting cheese on my crackers for sure.
