steam update news has said that THEY WILL HAVE A NEW SOURCE VERSION OF CS_MILITIA. I have been asking for this ever since Source came out and everyone laughed at me when i asked. This is my all-time favorite map in Counter-Strike becuz... when i started playing CS on my moms shitty ass Compaq Presario, the suckiness of the computer would only allow me to connect to a server after many failed attempts, let me play, then freeze if there would be a map change. One of the only servers that actually worked well was a 24/7 Militia map. It grew on me and i began to LOVE this map. I seriously think it is one of the all-time greatest maps just because of the layout. I mean, u can get a scout/awp and just pick ppl off from the windows, or be picked off by a CT from the rocks facing the front of the house. Or u can get ur Carbine and run through the tunnels trying not to get blasted from by the T's coming down the sewer holes. It's one of the more balanced maps. This just made my day, i swear. How cool is it that something that simple can make a boy so happy!!!!
Oh yeah, I've been pining for this one myself. I had read a while ago they were working on it but were to release a different map first. WoW has taken over my life but I may just bust out some good 'ol Source to play this.
I hated Militia, it's not balanced at all. I mean, it's pretty well done, but the chokes on that map are fucking bullshit for the CT's. If just 2 people can snipe well the CT's are fucking screwed.
seige is supposed to be unbalanced, as well as any other AS map due to the fact that everybody is after one person... I say bring back the escape maps, nothing beat those
you're right, I havn't played seige in so long I forgot which it was (I loved that map even) I was thinking of oil rig for some reason
In a CAL-I semi-finals match I killed an entire team in the tunnels with all headshots and 1 clip with the mp5. h4x

Source was alright, but after five years of playing CS (1.5 and Source-1.6 sucked ass) and three years cheating at it, it got boring. Awesome they're making that map though.
