God, Portal is turning my brain to mush. It's so awkward to move around like that. But it's amazingly fun...

    Get it, guys

Awesome.. I'm a big achievement whore so if I can grab the PC versions instead of the 360 versions and still get all my points I'll be happy.. plus I can use m/kb instead of the controller.

Finished Portal in a few hours. My gf came home and watched me play it almost all the way through. It's surprisingly funny, and the song during the credits is fucking classic.

Yeah, I paid 45 at steam. Just because I was too anxious to wait for CC to ship it or drive 30 miles to pick it up. I could have gotten it at CC for 38 bux.

$60 for the 360 version. Crackpipe and I checked out the opening sequence for HL2 and it looks just as good as the PC version. I'll have to say a tad better because I'm gaming on the 37" WS 1080p LCD.

Well worth the purchase, Portal owns. TF2 is hilarious and fun. I think I'll run through HL2 and Episode 1 again too.

You finish the main quest yet? I've been putzing around so I'm just now getting around to it. I've heard if you level up too far before trying to beat it then it's a bitch. I'm going to get the GOTY edition after that. Nothing like the feeling of sneaking up on someone and knocking them unconscious with an arrow. I love this damn game so much...

portal is soo fucking amazing, every level and every obstacle i pass leaves me smiling and laughing...

imagine this in a multiplayer deathmatch game, or standard fps type game.. the possibilities and fun would be endless.

despite it being so short portal was a great game. i hope they release some extra content for it later on via steam/xbl. tf2 is a lot of fun as well, but i had already played it a good amount on the beta. engineer ftw.

holy fucks, im at the end of portal FINNALLY..

i seriously dont see why everyone says its soo short.. i think thats exhaggeration or maybe its because i like to stretch my gameplay out to fully enjoy whats been built for us..

ive managed to stretch portal to a weeks time..
this very last "level" is like.. WTF.. but it leaves alot of behind the scenes hints about black mesa and aperture's joint venture. The whole idea is just fantastic because i thought it was just gonna be some random levels you have to get passed and thats it! This last level surprised me and im sad (LOL inside game joke) that its almost over. It kind of molds your mind into giving more inanimate objects "love". :p

I just beat it now, wish it was longer though, and a little more difficult. the ending credits were hilarious! I love how the start screen changes once you beat that game to.

apparently you will be able to purchase a plush companion cube from valve before x-mas.

    Agreed.

And I don't think Aperture Science was with Black Mesa. The presentation showed competing against them for DoD contracts. The ending was pretty hilarious...catchy tune.

    Spoiler

The cake ending was hilarious. Note that the scrolling orange text on the monitor behind the cake has a recipe. Pretty sure it will build that cake on display.

I bought the orange box today, not too bad, I'm not all that fussed about paying much for decent games, even though I alrdy had halflife2. Which they did notice and gave me a Gift on steam of Halflife2. Anybody want it? who doesnt already have it ofc!

i heard you don't get the cake ending if it takes you more than 3 hours to beat the game.
