CHEERS! I'm sipping on cruzan white rum and diet coke. and an empty stomach. Had a weird ass meeting today. Insights Discovery. Anyone ever been to it? It's like Myers-Briggs, but with colors. Supposed to help with communication and stuff. I took their eval, and was incredibly surprised with how accurate it was, after answering only 25 questions (are you most like or least like type things). Their printout on my personality was spookily accurate. I'd say, 98% accurate.
Tuesday was pretty eventful. Found out that I'm somewhat off-track for my graduation requirements. My academic advisor was never around and I'm scrambling to get my requirements done in order to graduate next spring. That shouldn't be an issue, but I have a lot of credits that I need to snag (including 2 online summerterm courses, ew). But in the good news department, the University's literary journal, Aerie was published today so there was a little [weird] party for that. It's a competitive magazine, but I managed to get a selection of tea-related haikus published as well as a decent-length short story. They also announced the results of a writing competition that pretty much all the English majors entered in. My forté is short fiction, but I placed 4th in the non-fiction category. I'm proud to say that my special lady friend took first in that category and together we netted $250. I sure can't complain!

strangly enough i have been really rockin out to katy perry's new song. Fucking kanye's rap is badass, even if it is duurrty, and kinda lame (what's next alien sex) makes me lol every time.
