Finished a construction project yesterday, cleaning up the construction debris today, doing household chores..................... and tomorrow?
I may be able to take it easy. We'll see.

Playing golf and hitting the neighborhood pool while weather still permits. I shot a 39-44: 83 yesterday, the first time I've broken 90 for 18 and 40 for nine in a long time. Minor grip adjustments can mean a lot.

Bah, as well as I played yesterday I played shitty today. It felt like I was hitting a bowling ball with a canoe oar.

Those rifles have been around a long, long time. It's one of the first big bores I shot.
    I really like my 6mm Remington M700, though I may score a 308 or 30/06 for elk.
Plinking would be a great pass-time for today. But the forest is way too dry to even drive in, let alone
    take up target practice in.

    Yay, weedeater finally started!

    Starting
    Today
    Is
    Hardly
    Likely

I own a STIHL chainsaw and weedeater and will never buy a STIHL product ever again. They are both pieces of shit, esp. the chainsaw.

It's not the implements, it's the fuel.

    Yeah, I've heard that before.

Also, in the case of the weedeater, it's also the string mechanism. First off, what I saw in the manual didn't match what I saw on my weed-eater, which was bullshit. I took it in. The nice mechanism in the manual is special and cost another $28. It should have been on the original to begin with instead of the POS it had, and even if not, the manual should reflect the actual POS part they give you at the start.

You use Stay-Bill or some such additive? That's been suggested. Right now I've got fairly fresh fuel (~ a week old).

I use Stabil. It driers out the crap alcohol put in gasoline. It also allows me to buy enough gas and store it for 6 months over the winter
in case I have to run my generator. It works, and it works good. If you can get your hands on some alcohol free premium gas that
is good to mix 50/50 with E85 for small gas engines.

Mo. still requires 15% ethanol I believe  We used to be able to run the flying club Cessna on cheaper auto fuel but now we have to buy actual avgas. Anyway, got some Sta-bil.

Hans-- why did you go? Did you know him?

They all do thanks to ADM and their huge lobby bankroll.
Look around, you may be able to find non-alky premium. It's rare, it's expensive,
    but it's out there.
