Halloween 2010 thread!

So I just tried on my costume (my own idea/design) in the mirror, thought about it a bit more, and now I'm actually pretty happy with it

Beats my costume. My Mole People mask is so fucking constricting, I know that I'll be whipping it off after a few houses. I can barely breathe in the damn thing.

Yah, I have a strict no-rubber-mask policy, as well as the outfit being comfortable and practical. For example, mine involves slacks and a button-up long sleeve shirt. Very comfortable. But I don't want to give it away yet

You should try latex pieces. Takes more time but it looks better, moves better and doesn't restrict if done correctly.

Yeah, I think that's a good policy. I'm thinking about either modifying my mask or just throwing it out for some face paint. I've already got some bad ass vampire teeth and monster gloves, plus the jump suit I bought.

EDIT: here i goes!! the eye at the top actually flashes, and glows in the dark when turned off, i modded an led in the top with switch and batteries so it flashes, like a strobe.

I'm going as a mobster (suit, overcoat, Fedora, cigar, etc)... Will post pics after halloween because I aint wearing that shit just for you guys/gals.

Got my "spooky driveway" done today. Got the 60 flickering bulbs in the candelabras all the way up the driveway, hooked up the Peavy PA system incognito and the fog and strobe machines.... Family loved it but I will still add to it. I took some pics but not with the SLR so I need to do that tomorrow.

Now I'm working on the jukebox library for the billiards room....

1000+ is definitely the way to go. Spirit Halloween for sure has 1000watt models rated for 8,000cfm. Better hurry though, they might be picked over. What I bought was a 1300w Chauvet, and that motherfucker spews out 20,000cfm! It looks like Puff The Magic Dragon, or my buddy Andy smoking grass.
