That is pretty neat. So how can you adapt that to power a vehicle?

Damn, we're up to $3.56 per gallon for regular, and $3.86-$3.90 for premium. This shit is getting ridiculous!!!! I've definitely cut down on my driving. I pretty much just drive to/from work each day, and don't take the time to just cruise and go for drives like I used to.

Too bad, too, as I really enjoy driving....

With enough output, it'll run a car like propane. With 2 litres per minute, it'll suppliment the petroleum products, be it gas or deisel, in a way as to increase horsepower, total complete burn and double fuel mileage easily. With a few safetys, you just pipem it into your air intake stream, relocate your oxy sensor and recalibrate your MAP sensor thresholds.

I know what you mean, I wanted to go to the coast today (89 miles away)
but the choice came down to buyinf fuel to get there and back, or a weeks worth of groceries.....it's that serious at the 'wiskas household.

I tested that test chamber out with a rather standard core today. running the same volts and amps as my last setup (12v/1.5a), my production was trippled at 1 litre/20 mins. I upped the amperage (X10 to 15amps) and got 2 litres in 10 minutes. That is a 7200X increase in three mods. I'll be there soon, as I only need to increase output by 10X to have 2L/min!!! I have two old company rigs that the boss is more than eager to let me use for prototyping, then he wants his hotrod '52 ford truck done up. :unibrow:....did I mention it increases HP?:unibrow: He's likin the solar hot water heater I built for him to heat up the pool.

it was an interesting morning.....scared the shit out of the youngest cat and the wife as she was trying to take a sip of her first cup of coffee.
I was charging a car battery that was intercepted from the dump-run and
remanufactured it. I had a 14.7 volts charge and totally topped off amperage in it and was trickle charging it. Somehow I managed to drop a strip of stainless steel on it and......

    oh the carnage..........................BOOM!

Gidgit is still jumpy as hell
    [IMG]

I wasn't up to recording , editing and going through the youtube upload hassle today, but heres a couple pix of the latest core. Pretty standard one, lots of guys are using this config and getting good output with 20 amps. i do not want to go with that much amperage to get the output along with the heat problems. so i'll keep experimenting untill I find the sweetspot.

If i can squeaze out 45 MPG out of my truck, it'll all be worth the fun.

If I can add a few neutrral plates, I'll be able to get the draw down below 10 amps. I'm trying a different set of plates today, a little more reaction area.
I don't know how well this will eventually help my fuel mileage, but as long as I'm living in the sollution, I don't tend to be as hostile to the service station attendants.:p

$4.50 for regular in the Chi.. highest in the nation apparently. I'll make sure to fill up before I go there tomorrow. And inflate my tires like whoa. And change my plugs probably, it's been like 70,000 miles.

This is all raising food prices too U.S. food price rise to be largest in 18 years: USDA | U.S. | Reuters. one, for the transportation, and two because grains are being diverted to ethanol production. There is an out of control locomotive on the tracks and nobody in DC is willing to do anything about it. that fucking does it, I'm voting democrat and Obama is the man for that party. i cannot sit by and have four more years of this fucking shit. fire thier collective asses!

forget the tinfoil hat, i'm wanting one of these masks!

Not to mention that JOBS are tied to the economy too. My income has decreased 65%. Instead of the 20 grand I should have made thus far this year, I've made 6. Then sky-high food and fuel prices, along with utilities and crap, causes less income......it's a viciouse cycle and I'm not voting repub this time around!

This HHO will be fun on the forth of july. The test apparatus will fill a balloon. I'll have to let one float to see how fast it rises so i can determine
how long a fuse to tape to it. :unibrow:
When that battery blew up, I was expecting a knock at the door for sure....
....it was louder than a Whetherbee 7MM mag. Note to self: cover batteries being charged when working with sheet metal.

My advice is not to sell your 4runner for a faggy Subaru :p

I don't know what the US market is like so I can't be much help on the price. Uping the price is pretty risky now that you've asked 12 though. if you increase the price you can probably say goodbuy to the current buyer who will be pissed off. could work in your favor if it sells but if not you will have very possibly blown off a bunch of possibly buyers.

Well I deleted the ad, and will re-list it for maybe $13,000. I'm kind of figuring if I've gotten 7 replies in 12 hours, raising the price $1000 or so won't kill demand too much.

what's bluebook on your 4runner? I think because it's a newer toyota 4runner, people are willing to pay for it. I don't have the same luck with my 94 Explorer but that is to be expected. sounds like you wont have any problems selling it. that's great news!

I said this in my own thread in the car forum, but I just re-listed at $13,500 (KBB of ~$13,900) and already have someone coming over to look at it at 2pm. All I need to do is reinstall the factory stereo....

I always just put about £30 $60 in my car, so it's never full. Today I thought it was leaking, then I worked it out, fuel has gone up so much I didn't get much fuel for the £30. The cheapest place around is about $9.16 a gallon.

The government really has to sort this out, when fuel prices go up, everything goes up due to higher transport costs, which then courses inflation to be higher.

I just heard on the radio that oil just hit $130 a barrel...

I'm been experimenting with the driving style that 950 posted about with mixed results. I already drove that way for the most part, hence the reason my vehicle is rated for 21 MPG city by Consumer Reports and I was getting 22 MPG. But I slowed down a little and really tried to control my stops / coasting, without being an asshole and holding up traffic, and have been able to get an extra 1 MPG. Hardly worth the effort.

You know, there are replacement chips for performance to "soup-up" a car's HP. You ever ask yourself why there isn't one for economy? Cars are not designed to be as efficient as the technology is capable of. Let's face the facts: fuel economy does not = record profits for oil corps.

That is far out Wiskas, because I was thinking this EXACT thing driving to work this morning. Or better yet, a switch on the dash to go from regular to fuel-saver mode. Kinda like the anti-turbo button. :)

It could easily be done, I just wonder why it isn't being done. I'ma gonna google it and see what I can find out. May even find an eprom that'll make neccessary adjustments to run hydroxy.

oil closed at 133 today. if you really want to get angry go ahead and look up the historical price of oil per barrel and then compare it to the historical price you have been paying at the bump say over the last 10 years.

all those driving techniques are useless imo. if you drive full throttle everywhere you go and always hammer on the brakes the the very last second maybe, if you drive like a reasonable adult allready you're wasting your time driving like a hippy for next to nothing. Take out any extra weight you don't need (spare tire, jack, rear seats if you don't use them etc) that might make a semi noticable difference.

they do. My friend has an aftermarket device that always him to swap "modes" on the fly, there are verious stages of performance, and original OEM setting aswell as economy mode.
