I am wondering if this is a good trade...

    I would give:

    RB Cedric Benson
    TE Tony Gonzales

    I would get:

    RB Brian Westbrook
    WR Hines Ward

I think its pretty fair but i want opinions from people who know what they are talking about..

    Thanks

Benson is a top 5 RB
Gonzales is in the top 15 at TE

Westbrook is not even close to the top RB's in the fantasy
but Ward is in the top 15 for WR

info was half assed from here:

    and

i would say deny the trade, westbrook is a chump, and the eagles pass more often then run, keep benson he is one of the only things the bangles have going for them

i have a team that is 5-1 after this week too!!

I'd probably do that deal on the strength of Ward.

Yeah im pretty torn because Westbrook usually turns out to be a good fantasy player, if hes healthy. Any Hines Ward would be a great flex considering I have Larry Fitzgerald and Wes Welker already. It would give me Brandon Jacobs and Westbrook at RB who need to step it up.

I think I may just go for it considering I enjoy changing up my squad. I'll probably try and pick up Heath Miller or Greg Olsen off waivers or play Cooley from my bench for TE.

    I'm 5-1 now also.

I love Westbrook but I wouldn't do the trade. Cincy has a great playoff schedule for Benson, Gonzo is pretty steady. Unless you really need help at WR I wouldn't do it. Are you in a PPR league?

    Now that we're gloating:

    6-0
    5-1
    4-2
3-2 (most points scored in league by 100)

am I the only one that doesn't get fantasy sports? I just don't see the appeal in it. Seems like an awful lot of work. To each their own of course and I don't know too much about it. Do you actually win anything at the end or is it just a fun game that you play?

^ That shit happened to me in the last league (should be 4-2, not 3-2). I have most points for and by far the most points against. I faced brees and brady those two weeks. I've been more than lucky in my 6-0 league but dodging the Brees/Brady/C.Johnson owners when they scored 8000000 pts in a game. P. Manning has been a huge help in two of my leagues.

Yeah, I agree with everyone... no deal.

I have Ward and altough he can put up some good points, he is not consistent.

On another note... maybe you guys can chime in on this trade offer I got.

    I would give up:

    Derrick Mason
    Santonio Holmes

    And would receive:

    Ahmad Bradshaw
    Steven Jackson

My current RBs are: AP, Jamal Lewis, Willie Parker (who I want to get rid of) and Leon Washington. Looking to strengthen my RB line-up for week 9 as I'll have Wash and AP out on Bye.

I'm ok on WR with Moss, Crayton, Ward, and Edwards.
