9 hours till the season starts!

If you guys haven't watched F1 still, dammit, get with it man! This year there's more ex-champions than any year prior. New rule changes and I guarantee it'll be entertaining as hell.

After watching Kimi's interview on Top Gear, I can't wait for this season. Interview time will be hilarious :)

F1 is like NASCAR with less Lagers and more right turns right?

    Left turns too :)

There's no oval tracks in F1. Some tracks, some city circuits:

They are the most advanced cars (lightest, most aerodynamically advanced, best materials, most power, fastest etc.). There's also crazy complexities with the team management, R&D throughout a season and the drivers are amazing.

I used to watch a lot and played F1 99-02 online with some friends, but the last time I payed much attn. was the year they started that deal that stored breaking energy for short bursts on command. IIRC they did a lot of weird shit that yr. adn they kinda lost me. Kimi went to Ferrari about then.

Used to go to the F1 many many years ago as a kid when Adelaide had the street circuit. (then Melbourne stole it) Pretty impressive how loud and fast they are. Have not actually payed any attention to the F1 races for many many years though.

F1 is very entertaining to watch, but I don't keep up with the drivers and such. My friend who lives up north lives about a mile from Road America, in the summer on weekends you can sit on his porch and hear the engines racing in the distance. We'll sneak in there from time to time and watch what's happening that day. :p
