...Where you just can't get drunk? So before the hockey game tonight (we lost to Yale 5-2 by the way ) I had about 6 shots within the hour. Normally this would get me fairly drunk, as I don't drink all that much. Even at college I probably drink less than once a week. But I was not very drunk at all. So the game ended, and I'm sitting here shaking the whole dorm listening to bass tracks to test out my subwoofer, and waiting to go to the concert at Java house. I plan to arrive fashionably late, around 11 I just had maybe 8+ shots in less than an hour. That alone would get me pretty drunk, add that to the 6-ish 1/1.5 hours ago and I should be trashed. But nope, I hardly feel drunk. After 14-16 shots, I would expect to feel something, and I normally would. Anyone else have this happen from time to time? I just don't get it. It is not like my biology and tolerance to alcohol could have changed tonight. Is it a mental thing? Has this happened to you before? Anyone have a medical explanation for this? I know it has happened to me before, I just don't get it.
