I was listening to a Podcast today and they were talking about this movie. I have since Acquired™ it, and it's so damn good I'm going to actually buy the damn thing.

Great action, great story, and it has THE BEST 1 on 1 pistol fight scenes I've ever seen. The Matrix fight scene with Neo and the Agent (can't remember his name) in the subway was good, but THIS is freaking awesome.

I know a few others out there have seen this movie, but I definitely give it 2 thumbs up.

Yeah, Equilibrium is the movie that got me excited when I heard Christian Bale was going to be playing Batman.

I guess I'll be the first few drops of the Rain on this Parade.

Equilibrium really didn't do much for me, at all. Really, if anything it just gave me the cinematic equivalent of Blue Balls. I was all pumped up for Bale's performance, I was pumped up for some intense action sequences, special fx, and a unique storyline, but none delivered.

The story is uninspired/cliche, perhaps all the dystopian sci-fi's poorly blended into one. For me, the action sequences came off as poorly planned/executed, with this overwhelming cheese factor. And all in all, the feel of the film never did sit well with me.

Obviously film is subjective, but hey, even Rottentomatoes gave it a 35%.

I found it pretty damn phony, but an awesome action movie however. There were some really really cool fight scenes, one of the best was when he was running and manages to pick up a G36 with his feet while running, it kinda flew up behind and in front of him! haha.

There was some longer slow parts, but overall its a damn good movie. One of the most disturbing scenes where you really feel for the character and what he's going through is when they are shooting some puppys outside the city.

Anyone who hasn't seen this, check it out. Becuase its a UK made movie, its rather expensive here in NA, like 40$ and hasn't come down since I bought it 4 years ago. Online should be cheaper.

This is a decent idea. Though I think an overall "art" forum or some sort would work better, a just movie forum might be a little scarce in posts.

This just in, noone can have an opinion on something unless they were involved in creating it or in creating something similar.
