Could have sworn I hit "post" earlier, but I guess it didn't go through... Anyway, I got a call from Colorado State today telling me that I've been selected for an interview for their Master's of Education Program, specializing in Student Affairs and Higher Education. If I get into the program, the school pays my tuition and provides me with a paid assistantship to gain practical experience. Out of nearly 200 applications, 48 get interviewed and 24 get into the program. One of my former supervisors at my current university is an alumnus of the Colorado State program and gave me a great reference, so I've got high hopes. I'm supposed to call them back next week to finalize the interview date and get information about flights etc. Got my passport last year for my Europe vacation, so no worries about that. Now, gotta hope that the University of Vermont calls back with the same offer. Wow. In a few months, I might be "Americanized..."
