I've watched plenty of things on it. It's watching a bunch of morons use false information to pursue the right wing neocon bullshit view. It's number 1 because there's too many rednecks in America eat that shit up. I don't have a problem with them being so to the right. It's the fact that they claim to be fair and balanced is what's fucked up. They are not at all.
well at least a group of people are doing what is right in the free market: voting with their wallets. don't like something? Don't let them get money, they'll change soon enough when their pocketbooks starts hurting. That's really all I have to add to the thread. yeah everyone knows fox is right leaning, while most other outlets are leftleaning. Nothing new...well except tat people displeased with fox news' brand of journalism are proposing to do something about it other than whining.
I stopped watching media news broadcasts along time ago. The slant to both sides was way too obvious. It used to be that if it was editorial, it was anounced that it was so. Now, it's all the same thing. I stopped buying the local news paper for the same reason. I don't claim to be left or right. I'm somewhere in the middle vasselating between l/m and r/m, depending on what's up with life and circumstance. When I spend any of my limited time on Earth taking in news, I want as unadulterated fact as posible. That just doesn't seem to happen any longer as sensationalism and popular fad including political matters tends to run the show in order to gain monetarily by means of advertising dollars. Commerce runs the show as with all aspects of modern life. Just look around you, someone, some corporation is constantly attacking you with advertising of one form or another.
If you don't think they're fair........give me an example. I never claimed that some of the pundits weren't right but, they are certainly overall as a network a hell of a lot more fair than MSNBC, NBC, CBS and, CNN. Everyone associated with those networks hates conservative ideals so much that it oozes out of almost every broadcast.
But to be fair, isn't the subject of this thread political? I can see where you guys might be coming from if the thread started out about sports or tv shows but not in this particular instance.
I suppose, but it seems like you and 50 have been going at it lately. You guys should buy each other a beer and agree to disagree.
What? You're using some bogus Youtube video to prove your point? Thanks for playing. For shits sake at least Fiddy uses some reputable sites to back up his arguments.
So you're avoiding it? It's really not surprising. I mean you watch the garbage on your own and are unable to realize how much crap spews out from everyone's mouth on that show.
My retort is it's a bogus video with somebody with an opposing view slapping a red "X" over statements and not backing them up. I even watched it twice in case I missed something. It's a manufactured propaganda video with no substance behind it. This is what you base your opinions on? Now it all makes sense.
You still haven't provided US with evidence to show that FOX News is actually as fair and balanced as they claim to be. Why don't you practice what you preach, Tac?
So wait, showing clips where they state things that aren't true and then calling them on it is a "bogus video"? I'm not sure what you're expecting from us. Maybe Rupert Murdoch to join the forum and post a video of himself apologizing? Oh wait, you'd probably assume it was fake.
I'll bite! YUAHAAGGHGGHHHH!!! *that was goofus shouting it down. Whatever "it" was... That blog was during the campaign wars, so the "fairness" issue is a bit strained, dealing with the Clintons and Obama, while the Clintons were flailing around blaming everyone and everything for what was their own simple "do the math, dummy" blunder, ignoring Caucus States for Primary States. It was fun, after the primaries were over, watching the Clintons trying to take back all those words and cheer him on with: "rah, rah, Obama! What? I never said that!"
You found a video of someone giving their opinion that fox isn't biased while he was on a fox news program? Really? Are you seriously telling us that because fox gave better coverage to Hillary (which may I remind you, Rush and friends were telling their audiences to vote for Hillary over Obama), that makes them more objective?
Exactly! It couldn't be because Hillary was trying to gain the votes from some Republicans that somebody somehow associated with her appeared on FOX News trying to kiss ass....
