AWESOME GAME!!! I'm watching my brother rock the single player. Smooth animations, framerate and action. The game flows well and isn't overly difficult, like I remember COD3 being at some points.

Either way, he's been rockin the SP for a while and I'll be hittin' up the MP when he's done. Go get it! I walked into gamestop and there were like 7 people in line around 12:30pm, waiting to get the game. Expect a nice community on all 3 platforms.

I spent over 6 hours last night playing MP and SP, mostly MP though. Love the game, just love it. I still enjoy halo but it will be hard to go back to it.

This is DEFINITELY more entertaining than Halo 3's MP, imo. It's good, don't get me wrong, but class customization and perks add so much. Not to mention...the maps are just insane in detail.

DUDE, the "prologue" surprised the FUCK out of me.. i was like okay this is a cool first level... NOT! *roll intro credits*

i dont like the pace of the game.. everything is rushed and i feel like im missing out on something or missing out on a chance to view a beautiful environment art. If it was a real single player, you by yourself, im sure it'll be alot calmer. I like to take my time in these next gen games and i just dont like the feeling of being rushed.. but at the same time, im sure this is what our soldiers are having to experience at times..

the graphics are amazing at times.. i just hate being up close to a door and its all blurry and shitty looking.. i paid good money for next gen i wanna see next gen textures... not some directx7 bullshit.

theres constant firing through the whole fuckin game! not to say its a bad thing it just gets a little unnerving after a while... and the repeating of your fellow soldiers "rpg on the 3d floor!" "rpg on the 3rd floor!" "rpg on the 3rd floor!" GAAHH!!

grenades are heavy in this game, if die at all itll be because of the grenades.

I beat it on regular difficulty, great game. Im going to have to go back and do it on veteran now, it does seem a little short though. It would be nice to have more campaigns

Just finished the PC version on "Hardened", I thought it was fantastic, it beats the crap out of MoH:Airborne. The US missions are all a bit similar, but the SAS missions are great, especially the two set in Chernobyl, I really enjoyed those. Some very nice scripted events too, CoD games have always been good for that sort of thing.

Word, COD1 pimped out the Quake 3 engine. I love COD1.

Should've just gotten it for the PC. I suck at FPS games for the xbox because I still can't get the aiming down the way I can on a PC.

i got it for pc for my birthday. and it runs like absolute shit even with the settings turned all the way down.

i need to investigate how to go about upgrading the graphics on a laptop.

but it's fun enough even running at like 12frames...

shit was crazy in the prologue though, with all the water. my laptop was hurting.

Man, the framerate on the 360 is freaking amazing.

There is nothing bad about this game.

Most cinematic gaming experience ever. I just finished the USA campaign... I think..?

Also, the level where you were the copter gunner through the camera was ace.

i liked it but it kinda flew through my interests pretty quick...
theres nothing captivating that STUCK with me and lasted a while.. in that i mean, once you get the hang of the situation and get engulfed into the action of whatever level/sequence youre playing it comes to an abrupt stop just when its getting good. Me, personally, COD2 had a more defined, profound effect on me than cod3,4. These "cinematic gameplay" portions just dont feel like gameplay to me. They look good and all but it just isnt gameplay to me

The animations, my goodness! have to be the most impressive ive ever seen in a game.. you shoot em in the arm they react, shoot em in the leg a different reaction, all those details really add up. The prologue and epilogue.. are EPIC.

Its just a shame the levels just arent long enough, i managed to really take my time and stretch the game out to a full week.. i coulda beat it the day i got it but i wanted to make myself feel a little better about spending that $60 .

You are playing multiplayer, right? That's where the game's replay value gets sky high. The campaign mode is just old COD fashion, but it shines in MP. Like almost all of them have, aside from COD 3.

Currently Rank 26...It's addictive, I tell you. I won't stop until I'm maxed. Even then, I might keep playing.

AFAIK, Prestige Mode resets you to Rank 1 and you get an emblem. But:

    1) Do you keep your unlocks?
    2) What is the emblem?
    3) Do you have to re-do all challenges?

    :D

As much as I FRIGGIN' LOVE this game...does every asshole have to use MARTYRDOM...seriously. Last Stand, that's respectable. You can aim the pistol and put effort towards getting a kill when you die. Martyrdom, however, is fucking noob luck. Knifing someone with it is about 75% guaranteed death.

I know, I know...RB to throw it back, but good luck scrambling around in a dark spot or tight corridor to get the prompt. I just wish there was some kind of restriction, ya know? Maybe...you can only use the Perk if you actually have a grenade in your inventory. I can waste my 'nades and still have one left over for martyrdom.

Whatever...everyone and their mother uses it. It's pretty much routine to kill someone and stay the fuck away because they're gonna drop a noob-ass grenade in the name of allah or whatever.

    fuck...

I only use Martyrdom on my "Terrorist" class. (Dragunov since the AK blows ass and Colt .45, with Claymores)

    It's in character.
