Funny thing is that most of our beer is pretty straight forward; English Bitter, American IPA, Old Ale, etc. But I guess it's more interesting to highlight the "whackier" beers. Also, we've never made a "Jasmine Beer", not sure where he was getting that from. Oh well.

Great work on the brewery. I hope it's just an adventure that begins. I wish you a long lasting success!

    Cool story bro.

You better start making some Jasmine beer since people might start asking for it. Or just rename an existing beer.

    Cool.

I didn't know your place had opened. I was under the assumption you were going to invite local tweakers to the opening party :insert pity sad face:

Fucking KTLA: where the amateurs get their start before moving to the real networks in LA. Still way cool dude, next time I'm back in Santa Clarita I'll have to head over the hill to ol' Antelope Valley and check you guys out!

    OMG that's awesome. Congratulations.

I love Lee Emory and loved his show Mail Call. The episode where he went to Whiteman Air Force Base and was made an honorary B2 pilot was one of the best things ever on the History Channel.

    That's pretty awesome man.

So I'm sure you meet and talk with Gunny pretty regularly? Is he as badass in real life as he is in his public persona?

Also, how do y'all like those plastic pub kegs? I was considering picking a few of the 5gals up because they're cheaper and easier to find than corny's. Since it's plastic inside, do y'all have to replace them often?

Jackalope - Lee is a pretty cool guy. In person he's very laid back, but if you upset him he'll quickly get fiery and still knows the entire opening monologue to Full Metal Jacket verbatim.

We like the plastic kegs. They have a very unique look which is good for branding, they're lighter, and PKA gives a complete warrantee for 3 years I believe. The plastic inside is inert, and we don't have to open them to clean them, so they definitely will atleast make it through their warrantee life span.

And thanks for all the kind encouragement. It's been great so far, we recently had an expansion to our fermentation capacity (which more than doubles our production). If anyone in the area wants to stop by, pm me and I'll make sure to set some time aside to treat you with the Royal T3D treatment.
