First off, fuck Amazon. I pre ordered this game over 2 months ago and and just barely received it. People who ordered the game last week from amazon received it before me! Now onto why this game pisses me off. The LAG! I literally shot a guy at point blank range. He had enough time to lay on the floor, swap weapons, then stand back up and shoot me! I watched the kill cam and he was literally a full second ahead of me time wise in the game. I tried "fixing" the issue by selecting the "BEST" option in the online connection menu but it did not help me at all. I am being punished for having a great internet connection and im so angry! I literally had to drink 8 beers to settle my nerves ...and no its not me. I am a rather decent player. In Modern Warfare 3 it was rare if did not kill at least 20-30 people a match. So I know I am a good player. Anyone else on the board buy Black Ops 2?
i played a bit so far, first mission is killing black ppl. i was like.. lolwut. im playing it looking for illuminati shit and predictions. fuck the multiplayer and all that crap
Huh...I was thinking of picking it up for PS3, but then I heard about issues with lag and they're trying to fix it. I'll go NFS: Most Wanted instead.
please do so. ...this was me last night ...i turned on a UAV and knew a player was coming around a corner. So I lay down in what I think is a blind spot for him. As soon as he rounds the corner I start shooting. I die. On the kill cam I never got one shot off!!! It is freaking horrible.
So I figured something out today. I have read some people throttle down their upload speed with their router to take lag compensation out of the game and it is not possible with mine. So instead I am leaving torrents running in the background of my computer to eat my upload speeds and it has evened the playing field for me on Back Ops 2. How is that for a tweak!? lol
wow..... at least you got further than my brother..... apparently, he keeps getting BSODs trying to run it.
Torx or mullet for your brother. If you decide to play online multiplayer and experience a lot of lag compensation, try out the "fix" in this video. It fixed about 70% of the lag compensation for me.
i guess he updated his BIOS and now the BSOD problem is gone, he's pretty satisfied with it.... more than Borderlands 2 currently, and he went nuts over the original.
