Just playing a couple minutes of the demo on my PC makes me want to buy it. Not like I'll play it that often (if at all). *SIGH* Torrents it is.

I traded in a couple games for it and it was definitely worth it.

Dude, buy it. It's worth the money and for a game this good, developers deserve it.

I can't get the demo to work for me :(

With the Catalyst 7.8 drivers (win xp) I have missing textures everywhere, and with the bioshock hotfix drivers I can't even get ANY DX game to run. Oh well, I'll just have to pass on this game until I upgrade my rig next year.

I don't know how much credence I'd pay to something submitted by an "amonynous" submision. Why does one believe the media giants would want to protect their income anyways? I just know they enjoy investing
billions anually in order to let people use their product for free.[/sarcasm]
The amount of illegal copying and sharing is rampant and getting worse, what does one expect them to do?

So, of all of you who are playing, who among you are "child killers"? :D And who among you pat the little sisters on the head and send them on their way?

Oh, I killed every single fucking one of them first time through. i was disappointed that there wasn't an achievement for it.

I'll save them all when I play through on hard.

    Bitches had it coming.

I finished it last night, it was a great game, and I was impressed how smoothly it ran, just like the MoH: Airborne demo. The Unreal 3 engine is looking fantastic so far!

Anyway, I'm not sure if there is an alternative ending cutscene, but the one I got didn't seem to match up with the storyline up to that point. Did anyone else have that feeling? What it showed wasn't exactly what I was expecting given what had happened in the last 2 or 3 levels.

Edit: OK according to Wikipedia, you get that cutscene if you harvest any little sisters at all. I think I only harvested 1 or 2, so that sounds right. Gives me an excuse to play it again though :)

    I think it's a shoo-in for GOTY.

It is pretty awesome, but I think there's a lot of good games coming out soon, so it may have competition. Plus I'm pretty sure Halo3 will get GOTY because everyone has a hard-on for that franchise.

You know what really grinds my gears? Halo. It was a shitty ass game then, and we're into the third one now, and it's probably still a shitty ass game.

    I don't get it.

I finished it last night. Awesome game. I'm already playing through it a second time to grab the last achievements and save all the little sisters.

That's it, I'm calling in sick. Besides I've got a computer upgrade to do on the side today and I don't care to work until 8 PM tonight.

Thank you for reminding me. I'm transferring my pre-order money from Halo 3 to Skate. later today.

I just can't get excited about it right now.

Someone, will you kindly tell me, is this more a game or an interactive story? ;)

I've read it described as a fusion of System Shock and Jedi Knights, with some Half Life thrown in. Does that sound about right to you?

It's Psi-Ops in first person with the immersion of Half-Life. There's a small RPG element (if you call inventory and making different ammo RPG elements), but it plays more like a shooter than anything else. Check out the demo, it should run okay on your computer and it will give you a pretty accurate sense of the full game.

I am at the part where you have to kill all those people and take pictures of them to finish that guy's masterpiece. How far along am I?
