RULE: You can only comment on ONE game. Mine would have to be none other than Final Fantasy VII. It's funny when I got the game. I had never really played RPGs before FFVII. My brother bought the game for me and it didn't really interest me until after a month of it sitting in my CD spindle. I decided to put it in and it didn't leave my PS1 for several months. I walked everywhere, flew everywhere, did all of the mini-games and went for all the utlimate weapons. I don't even remember how many hours I put into the game, but it was well more than 60. The story, fighting, art, mini-games, summons and Final Battle were the best I've ever seen. I remember when my cousins came to my house the day that I was fighting the final Sephiroth battle. My cousin tripped on the PS1 controller wire knocking the PS1 to the ground and shutting off the console before I could finish the battle! I was pissed to say the least but anyways...I love that game.
Fallout II. Requires no explaination. Years of devotion to the greatest game... ever. NO MUTANTS ALLOWED.

The game I've been the most addicted to is without a doubt Metal Gear Solid 2. I logged an unhealthy number of hours playing that game. I remember having collected all the special items and going for all the dog tags. I had decided to achieve Big Boss ranking after getting all the dog tags (which wouldn't have been that hard really, considering how much I had been playing.) Anyway, after I got all the dog tags and realized that the reward for getting them all was complete crap and a huge letdown, I threw the controller down in frustration and haven't played it since. This was about 2 years ago. I still rank MGS2 as my all time favorite game. The polish it had was just unbelievable, and the graphics are still awesome. Over the summer now I might pick it up again.. idk...
WoW is definitely the most addicting game I've ever played. I think about it all the time. I love this game. Must...get...more...epics!!!
A few of you are breaking the rules, one game only! Twisted Metal 2 - Man did I love this game. I was addicted to it for the longest time. Played it to death. My favorite character was definitely the guy on the motorcycle. Huge damage from his special, and he was fast.
Addicting as in kept you playing till you finished the game? Or addicting as in you still play it all the time even though you beat it? For the first it would be the splinter cell games. For the second it would be the street fighter series or more specifically sf alpha III for gba.

As much as im reading the above suggestions, and some of them I myself have been addicted to, there is only one game that I have put over 200+ hours, if not more into Diablo II I still play it, even today. I bought it brand new back in 00 I believe it was when it came out, played the shit out of it single player. I stopped playing it for a while and then about 3 years ago I started to play multi with a friend. During all the patches and all the updates and all the different kinds of characters to build, Im still playing it right now with the same buddy. Fun as shit and it runs on almost any computer.
