Please don't double post. The forums don't move fast enough to justify that.
Second, using a more descriptive topic than "Look at this" might be more effective. :)

You should also edit your post to add periods. It's very confusing as one huge sentence and you'll probably receive more replies that way.

Lag has nothing to do with your computer's hardware, upgrading your video card won't fix/cause lag issues. Lag is caused by too much traffic going through your network connection to the internet.

Aside from that I don't really have any idea what you are talking about.

ATI= driver issues? DSL or cable? DSL is way too dependent on line quality, any phone company work going on in your area?

Upload effects the speed that you send data packets. An upload bottleneck would certainly cause lag. The bandwidth you are posting should be fine for any online game, but you need to do a ping test to test the latency of the packets you are sending. You might have the bandwidth, but if the packets are getting routed around the world they will still take awhile to get to the destination, causing lag. Call up your ISP and ask them if they can do a ping test on your modem for latency. Do you lag on EVERY game and on EVERY server? Or just certain ones?

To rule out the DSL being a problem play the game in single player and see if you get the same lag problems. Most likey your having a driver issue, get the latest ati unified driver and install it, if that doesnt help go with the beta driver. Also make sure when changing your ati drivers you accually uninstall ALL the old ATI drivers before updating to a new one.

I get what you are saying, but what you call lag isn't lag. Lag is latency in data packets being sent accross the network. If you are playing single player their is no network traffic to be sent so it is impossible to have lag. That's called low framerate or sluggish video rendering.

I really hate when people call slow framerates, lag. Your DSL modem will cause lag, your video card will not. Your PC hardware will cause slow framerates, your DSL modem will not effect framerates.

Yes I realise what exactly lag is as opposed to low framerate it, but for the purposes of helping this member "lag" seems to be the term that he most relates with.

Considering that most people think that online gaming performance directly relates to ISP quality which is although common, not the end all be all factor of "lag" or poor framerates.
