Great job CB.
Bear... pay the lady.
Um can you make beanie hats?
do you usually use patterns, crowe? i know how to crochet but have pretty much limited myself to hats and socks. how easy is it to figure out?
I don't limit myself to pattens. I'll use one if I can find one, but if I can't then I make it up as I go. It's a lot of trial and error and pulling rows apart.
Its not very hard to figure out once you understand the concept of increasing and decreasing. You have to look at things as basic shapes. It also helps to know basic sewing stitches to sew parts together.
I'm apart of a bunch of crochet groups, follow a lot of blogs, and I google the hell out of the terms. You'd be surprised by how large the crochet following is on the internet. I started expanding my knowledge beyond making blankets because I couldn't find a hat I wanted.
awsm, if I can learn to at least make beanies I know what my family is getting for Christmas... teehee!
I can't believe I didn't check youtube about this sooner, I've learned so much on there lol
Damn woman! You have a skillfull talent there.
Thank ya, love.
You never messaged me back Im not getting any artsy fartsy crap?
Sorry, I found the list PMing you now.
here you go.
im still looking for a 8-bit version.
Crowebaby, you really should consider utilizing your skills and opening up an online store/blog like Torx suggested. You're very clever and talented, use it!
Just saw the thread re-bumped.
RRROOOOFFLL, that's fucking awesome. You've yet to PM me the details!
Send me a PM whenever. It's handmade so that's what makes it so much better. Great job, Crowe.
Check out this site. They have a crochet section:
Etsy :: Your place to buy and sell all things handmade
May be a good start for you...
Lol I know I'm planning on opening a store soon. I just need to make enough stuff to sell. Thanks for telling me though.
Finished this a couple weeks ago? I can't remember, my days are running into each other.
Hooray!! I am never making a monkey again! 86 pm me when you see this. I have PMed you already, but no response
Hope it was worth the wait!!
how long does it take you to make one monkey or doll?
i'd like to have a mario mushroom
that must take some serious skill to give them such detailed shape
Depends on how big it is. The monkeys took me a while because I kept on adding things to make it better. It can take anywhere from 2 hours to 2 weeks.
You made two stuffed ALFs?
Haha, the snouts aren't as long a as the look.
Do you make those based on patterns or do you just freehand them?
All of the ones that I have made for people on here have been free hand.
Ideas for you crowebaby
I've made them before. Meh. Thanks though. Lets try to keep this thread SFW so I dont have to create another one.
