I loved swype on samsung phones, I have it installed on my iphone but its still in beta.
One handed typing. My oh so manly fingers were indeed having issues reaching the other side of the device without significant and awkward recradling.
It seems to be a slick phone and hell maybe the 5 will piss me off enough to jump platforms. Also, the Sprint guys offered me $150 for my 4 as a tradein. If only I didn't get a 30% discount and still have unlimited data with AT&T.
If Apple didn't make the screen bigger, all the Android users would be like, "Oohh, our screens are still bigger! So much for innovation." *slowjerk*
It's great to have lots of options. I'm pretty comfortable with my iPhone 3gs, but people have different preferences. Calling someone an iSheep because you have a Windows computer and use an Android phone is pretty ignorant. It's cool to hate the big, successful company, right? When Microsoft was king, y'all were like, "OMFG FUK WINDOZE!!@!!!" Did Steve Jobs kill your parents or something?
I was calling people iSheep because Jimmy Kimmel handed them a iPhone 4 and told them it was an iPhone 5 and they then told him after playing with it how much better, faster, lighter, bigger etc it was than the 4S, iSheep!
have fun paying an additional 30 dollars on top of the regular phone price to charge your phone! LOL!!!!
Umm.... It comes with a charger. You would only need to buy an adapter if you want to user your existing chargers.
Not really sheep but rather tech illiterate public.
Wut? Didn't you used to work for Apple? I don't understand this post.
So I put my name down for one in a store, seems likely that I'll get it this coming Friday release day. Being that I'm upgrading from a 3GS, I think I'll be very happy with the 5.
Guh, I cant imagine still having my 3G. My 4 is feeling old as is.
^^^Pft! I just upgraded to a Droid from my old grandpa Razr phone...
Nice article, it still shows the Samsung SG III with JB being the fastest.
So the question I would then have to ask; what does it do faster in the real world?
I don't own an iphone 5, so can't really answer that question. What I can say is, it "would" appear according to that article that you can get a better spec'd phone with more features for $143.55 less (based on 16gb iphone5 vs 16gb SG3, Amazon UK).
Sure, if you like giant plastic phones that you have to dick with to get running 'right'. And yes, 'right' is subjective as hell.
I wonder how drop proof that front screen is really going to be. I've gotten used to barebacking with my 4 but don't want to break my new hotness. :/
I'm not sure where that comes from.
My S3 I haven't had to dick around with at all. It just works beautifully.
Yea, I have two of them, and I don't have to "dick" around with them to make them work, they're great. Maybe you should try one out. And I like giant plastic phones, I can remove my battery, stop at any usc and change it out with a fully charged one, it's great.
Your carrier allows you to swap your depleted battery for a charged one?
I've got warranty with my provider that allows me to get a new battery once a month for a year.
So if I REALLY want, I wouldn't have to worry about battery issues for a year.
Only problem is that the otterbox case I've got is a pain in the arse to get off.
They sure do.
That's fucking wild.
wish i had that kinda markup
