vectrex is definately on my super old school list when i get started on that.
ive never seen vector graphics before or the vectrex so it should be interesting.

my $50 ebay prize. a mint, nib lynx 1 with all the paperwork and several games.
im tell you, this lynx has not a fingerprint or scratch on it, superb condition.
rygar and electrocop bring back alot of memories, ive been playing the hell out of rygar.
electrocop is alot harder than i remember. This damn thing is so huge.. holding it in my hands its like reading a coffee table book.

lurker, yea its out of hand, but im nowhere near my goal.. no where. i got a couple more goodies to show, then that'll be it for a while.

    next up!
recieved a backup gamegear with new screen, insert, paperwork, box
after my original was just repaired (i replaced all capacitors), lcd brightness and contrast angle is identical to this other model, which is great. I wanted to know how the cap replacement would compare to a healthier GG. I plan on buying a gamegear flash cart sometime this year as well from tototek.

You should open a class at the local community college as "Consumer Video Game History."

    Wow! I'm seriously jealous. :)

Vectrex uses vector graphics instead of raster like all the rest of the consoles. It's not 3d.. think old school asteroids graphics. It's just a really fun/interesting console imo.

Have you ever thought about collecting dev kits? I know you can find em on ebay fairly regularly and some of those might be cool to grab.

scrubs, neo geo collection will probably be last since most items are very expensive.
and yes lurker, someday i will collect those as well.. never played one before but its def been on my mind

nah, never interested in dev kits.. i know thats your thing, but i leave those rarities to people(like you) who will actually make use of them. unless its a game.com dev kit :p i dont think theres even a public domain for that little piece of shit.

    edit: i found it here
    wow this is amazing!

well yea, but most neo geo products are foreign.. meaning i gotta purchase a new or good condition from across seas.. unless i can scout out at classic console forums like atariage

last consoles for a while.. probably.
i accidentally won two auctions at the same time, doesnt matter to me, i like to have backups just in case something craps out.

edit: so far, ive been playing vigilante the most, its pretty fun.. lots of retries and continues. viegues whatever game is really fun too.. its a side scroller mech shooter. final lap is okay and keith courage.
the rest is shitastic. just stupid or hard as hell, no continues, immediate game overs.. etc etc
ive got another set of games that i got with my TGExpress, havent played them yet... slaughterhouse should be fun on the tv
