Yep, exactly. The management actually gave me a break on that one. I got 3 perfect surveys, so they let it wash out. It appears that management uses it as a tool to get rid of people they don't like. If they like you, they won't charge that money. ~Will Courtier~
Wow, it's been a roller coaster of a month. Finished up strong with 8 sales and a total monthly income of ~$6,000. I sold all of the cars in the last 2 weeks of the month, too. Ran into a retired Navy Nuke that retired as an E-8. Nobody else was willing to work with him since everyone thought he was a dick. But, I sold him a car and made a pretty penny to boot! I sold 2 cars last week that made me over $2500. Not too bad for a day's work! ~Will Courtier~
I gotta pick up a new pair of shoes or boots. Since I've been up on my feet all day (working 12 hour shifts 5 days a week plus shorter shifts on the weekends), my feet aren't happy with me at all. I am hoping to find a nice pair of comfortable, steel toed slip on boots (Engineer's boots). Since I ride a motorcycle to/from work every day, I really want some tough boots in case a bad situation happens. Any ideas on a good pair of COMFORTABLE general work boots? I also need them to look decent, since I am in front of customers every day. ~Will Courtier~
I lucked out and found a clearance item at big5. They are a slip-on loafer with steel toes. Scored them for 19 bucks. I mainly wear them around the house and to run outside to fetch firewood. I don't think they'd do really well as a riding boot. here they are:
I've got a pair of these from redwing 2231 Men's 11-inch Pull-On Boot.. took a little bit to break them in but I wear them everyday @ work & no issues riding the Harley. I don't know if you can put a spit shine on them or not...
