OK, so the chrome plating plant that I was working for basically used me to get them through a major audit (which I did without any hits on our department at all), and fired me right afterwards. I had enough money set aside to live for a few months, so I casually looked for a job. I got hired on at one of the most productive car dealership networks in the state of Virginia (Southern Auto Group). I got hired on as a new and used car salesman, selling GMC's and Kias as well as any used car owned by our entire network. This place offers the highest commissions of any other dealership in the state, and we move more cars than any other as well. Just got my state Salesman license and have began working deals. I'm earning 30% of the profit on all vehicles I sell, and will basically get paid for just talking to people. Going to be a crazy change, but it will be so much easier on my body than physical labor. I just officially got my salesman's license yesterday, and have already began working a few sales that are pretty likely to close. The average commission at our dealership for each vehicle is between $750 and $1500, so the money will be incredibly good. I'm so freaking excited. I really enjoy going to work every day at this job. It interests me, and I am great at talking to people. Life is great!!!!
