    I never knew you, and it's obviously been a couple years since you've last been around, so welcome back.

    Ease up, guys. If he was a dick and it's been a couple years, give him a chance to prove he's different then he used to be.

    If this opportunity proves that he hasn't changed, go ahead and flame the shit out of him. If he has, well this sinking ship of a community might have just gained another member who will actually recall all the old in-jokes. It's not like you have anything to lose.
