I'm still alive for now. I rarely show up on here nowadaze. There's just not much happening here any more. It is really great to hear that you are OK.
I offer a new discovery. If you liquefy the broccoli cheddar soup in a blender, then pour it in a mug and heat it in the microwave... it's not a good idea. trust me... what a mess...
How are you doing, Torx? I wanted to look you up a few years back when I was passing through Tennessee on a trip out to Arkansas. Couldn't figure out how to get ahold of ya! Good to hear from you, man! I'm retired (medically) from the Navy, and work as a Navy contractor out in the Norfolk, Virginia area. I'm married with a 7 year old son, just playing the part of the normal working stiff. Don't get on here much, since I don't get a lot of free time. But, I try to check in every now and again! ~Will Courtier~

Tass!!!! Glad everything is going well for you!!! I know they are helping you, but PLEASE consider getting off the anti-depressants and finding an alternative. I have been on them for so long they don't even work anymore but when they do try to stop I get super dizzy and sick. Digging the hair. Would still IDB regardless of the ring
holy shit, i randomly decide to check this place for the first time in 100 years and see this thread. glad to see a few familiar names. i'm 35 now, married with three kids.
Not much may happen here anymore, but it's still nice to be able to check in and see the old names. To visit a place you've been coming to since before Facebook... since before the internet stopped being anonymous and polished. A place you remember the history of and the drama and the people. We've all growed up and taken on real life responsibilities... at first it may seem like that's why activity here has slowly dwindled. I don't think it's a question of not having the time though. I bet, when you consider social media and smart phones and streaming media and everything else that's come along, we're actually spending more time online now than we did when T3D was at it's peak. I think what's happened is that our internet energy has just been scattered and split in twenty different directions... each direction filling a need more directly and at a higher level than a place like T3D ever could. Something I do miss is the small community size. There isn't many places left on the internet of a size where everybody knows/recognizes every other user. We were large enough to aggregate a steady flow of interesting content and interactions, but not so large that voices went unheard among a mass of responses. Forums are still the best format on the internet for discussion imo. But when bigger better aggregator sites came along this forum didn't have a thriving common interest to fall back on... the days of tweaking PCs being over for many of us. I think the forum still serves a purpose though, however passively. Each of us has a personal history here which is really only fully known by the other users. A weird side-life. It's nice to be able to reconnect with that. I think we all wish the best for each other and enjoy seeing and hearing how each other are doing. I know I do.
Wow, it's awesome seeing all the names I recognize. I definitely reminisce about all the time I used to spend on the site
We did tend to put a bit of time into this place. Fond memories of "all your base", Batboy, badgers and mushrooms, etc. I think I still have the badger song somewhere on my HDD. I lost nearly every pic I had due to ransomware. I found an old Hard drive that had most of my T3D pics on it. Lord Kain, Mouse, Sparky, Fiddy, just to name a few. Those were good days. I found one that Torx Chopped back when I was still in my 40's. Hard to believe that it was nearly 20 years ago. Some nostalgia right here: And Scrubbins yearly Easter post:
