I'm waiting for Titanfall 2. I let No Man's Sky slide for the time being *cough*price-drop*cough*, though I read a bit ago that there were some decent mods for it. Anything good?
Whoah! HL2 and ep1-2 had me hooked for quite awhile. I've been through it three times. The 3 episodes of Mass Effect was even more addicting and I can hardly wait for ep4. There are rumors that release may come at the end of December. We'll see. Other than that I've spent the majority of the last year an d a half alpha then beta testing Planet Explorers.
I'm still hearthstoning. It's my go to for when I'm bored. I've also been playing a lot of emulators on my phone, with a bluetooth controller. Old school.
My gaming has fallen by the wayside. The timewasters I spend almost all my game time on now, are just Candy Crush Soda Saga (level 208. someone stop me already!), Minesweeper, and Mahjong. Mostly I'm watching anime, reading manga, or reading light/web-novels, when I recreate anymore.
Origin has Mirror's Edge Catalyst for $15.99 this weekend. SOLD! STEAM has No Man's Sky down to $35. I thought about getting it but the comments on the STEAM store site for this game are still so negative I'm gonna pass. Titanfall 2, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, and Prepar3D flightsim should do it for now-- unless someone knows about a deal that can't be refused (??)
Bf1 was fun but my attention span just isn't what it once was. I'm back to playing a Ragnarok Online on the Atlas private server. this time the wife is joining me, and she's liking it.
Spent nearly all of yesterday DL'ing a couple older games from the steam sale. FFX-X2 at 34 Gb and ES5-Skyrim SE at 10Gb. My slow internet connection really showed it's ugly side for those downloads. I didn't go out and buy these at full price because I wasn't sure I'd even like the gameplay. They aren't the games I'd normally buy and play. Mass Effect kinda got me OK with a bit of RPG type stuff. BTW: Merry Christmas everyone!
I picked up This War of Mine and Spec Ops: The Line. I marathoned the shit out of the latter. This War of Mine has a really cool premise, but it just didn't seem to really hold my attention. Cool concept, but I felt like the gameplay was pretty weak.
I'm starry-eyed and space-cased today due to being in Skyrim all day yesterday. It's pretty addicting even though it's an old game.
I'm all about the free. I nabbed Neverwinter Nights Diamond from GOG, and Mass Effect 2 from Origin, and I'm going to nab Path of Exile via Steam, since I hear it's so close to Diablo 3 that it may as well just BE Diablo 3....
have you played ME1 yet? ME1-2-3 is the only way to go as the story is a continence from 1-3. I can't wait for 4. i'm so glad I waited on getting skyrim (SE 64bit version). The amount of mods at Nexus now are many. A lot of mods from Skyrim work in SkyrimSE.
If they ever offer it for free, I'll be sure to nab it too. Right now I can't play ME2 anyway, without a more dedicated graphics card. I'm in two sweepstakes, one for a low end gaming rig, and one for a bicycle trainer app, that comes with an alienware console, so if the universe warps into some hyperdimensional gordian knot, and I win one of these, it will open up a whole new world for me!
Yeah, I don't spend much time doing anything else either. of course, the weather has been nasty for awhile now and gives me every excuse to sit indoors and play games.
