iTunes Expert?

    So i'm on LAN and it says people can only have 5 connections a day, and that limit was put into a new verion of itunes. If i get an older version of itunes will it not limit my connections per day? Can i connect to a newer version of itunes with an old verion of itunes?

    I believe it connects to the Apple server to check the number of users...

    When I used iTunes on the university LAN, I always noticed an external connection attempt. I had the firewall block all non - LAN traffic for iTunes. Hopefully, that will work for you, but it may require the other person to do the same.
