damn sad news. i grew up on the beasties too. kinda scary how all the money and fame in the world cant save you from death. not saying he was a trillionaire, but the idea of our childhood idols slowly passing before our eyes is depressing as heck.

And Neil's life is no short of heartbreak so that excuse is out the window, I went to a YES concert last weekend in Honolulu, they kicked ass but some rap artist will go to the front of the line. rock and roll right? I remember back when they released their first album, I was studying Vietnamese at the Dept of Defense language school in Monterrey, CA, I was just a kid. I loved it. Then the Air Force sent me out to the world for the rest of my life. Somewhere in that time frame I realized music didn't start and stop in the U.S. Sorry. One more time, RIP MCA. If you would have said Johnny Marr instead or Morrissey you might have pissed me off. But no.
Even that won't do it. TRARHOF absolutely hates progressive. I think Pink Floyd is the only one in there. Genesis is in, too, but they were Phil Collins' bubble-gum band after Gabriel left. At a minimum YES deserves to be in. Rush does, too, but I doubt either of those two bands will get in.
