I know I'm not a very vocal part of our little community, but I thought I'd take the time to wish everybody a happy Thanksgiving and safe travels to those of you out and about today!

I really feel for the upper mid west and eastern people trying to travel today. Glad to hear from you Phantom, it's been awhile.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. don't eat too much...yeah right. ;)
I just pulled 2 apple pies out and put 2 pumpkin pies in. The dinner rolls are raising and the greenbean casserole
goes in at 2pm. My mom has the turkey/stuffing, yams and peach pies well underway.
BTW: I'm thinking of busting into one of those apple pies for breakfast. :p

Three racks for two people = leftovers, but not a week's worth.

I usually try to throw something else on the smoker, too. I buy all-beef Ballpark franks (when they're on sale) sprinkle them w/ celery salt, and smoke 'em.

Nice rack! Happy Thanksgiving! I give thanks that the snowstorm kept the relatives at home, then went away for Thankgiving day! Tomorrow will be in the 60's. I'm thankful for that as well.

I try to cook small when it's just the two of us or even when it's my folks and us. But somehow........it always turns into leftovers for a week.
