I have AVG Free now. But through my collge I can get F-secure for free. Which is better? Which takes up less resources? Which catches virus's(i suppose it would be virii) better? The reason I am asking is because I have AVG and I was going to play a flash game. And it told me it caught a virus. So I thought nothing of it. Now I did a system scan and it shows that's the virus is still on my system. I think this has happened once before. So what do you guys think?
I use AVG, Anti Vir which is another highly rated free one and Ewido, which I downloaded and it found 2 infected files right away. I now use all 3, as I have found on many occasions, that what one does not detect the others have. NO one single program can do it all, I use several Anti Spyware also as no 1 or 2 or even 3 can get everything. I suggest use F-secure and AVg if it's free, why not. anti virus programs do not interfere with each other, at least none I have come across yet,
F-Secure F-Secure will freeze all system memory if run with another AV program. Speaking from direct experience. I used to work for a company that sold F-Secure. That thing is the biggest piece of shit ever, and I'd reccommend you stay as far away as you can from it.
