Soon, it'll be like living in a society where everyone around you can accurately read your mind, except you. I'm starting to believe that 9/11 is turning out to be an excuse for the intelligence community to do exactly what they wanted to do in the first place. It's sure been used to justify, rationalize, sell and condone a restrictive and exposed way of living that 20 years earlier would have not been tollerated by citizens.
I'm sure they're working on it. I mean, what's the point of detecting if you can't "subdue" the terrorist bastard? I'm actually looking forward to getting strip and cavity searched just because I happened to go to the range anytime near a plane trip. Or handling fireworks or whatever. it's all a security charade anyway. Anything to give government more power in the name of "security"
imagine where we'd be if no one person or entity opposed everything thats tried and been pushed to removing our freedoms. we'd be in a worse off place than we are now and not even know it. kinda like... right now. valve has known all this time.
