It's not part of the Islamic faith. It's a social cancer and I believe it's malignant and is metastasizing....too late to do anything about it within international law. They're just what happens when the rest of Earth's population becomes pussies or too poor to do anything about it..

See, prison gangs, street gangs, etc. Sure some of those may "believe in god" but their allegiance belongs to their gang first and foremost at a blood-oath level, i.e. atheist.. To believe atheists and agnostics are non-violent is ridiculous.

These are all symptoms of the underlying causes. People the world over are just plain pissed and religion is just one of a long list of justifications that are being used to rationalize barbaric behavior. Same goes with the race problems here. So long as the majority will put up with the bad element that aims to do harm, this will escalate. Domestically, as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, we're set up for the same kinds of violence here. Picture living life like: 'The Hunger Games' or "Elysium'.
