I saw the news clips of the 138 covered in snow and everyone needing to be rescued. It's probably why everyone here blames Californians for the crappy traffic in the snow, however in my experience, it's the natives driving too fast in their SUVs not uunderstanding that they can't stop as quickly as they go.
Hubble Revisits the Famous "Pillars of Creation" with a new lens http://www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/p1501ay.jpg
In 19 years, I'd expect something to change at least a little. What are the odds of Hubble getting the exact same shot from the exact same angle?
Seconds still count. If a star goes dark 10000000000000000000 light-years away at Mann's Chinese in THAT solar system, you still see it go down exactly the same way at the Matinee theatres down the road here on Earth... just at a later showing. Time, as we measure it is a constant. Whether or not it really is a constant is yet to be proven. Today it is. So in effect a fraction or even a multiple of a constant is still a constant factored. Pew pew!
WTB: 30/06 I don't do crowds. This morning, the world was closing in on me (the view out my living room window): Then they jumped a 5' fence like it wasn't even there....I need my space! : The biggest ones were upwards of 1000 pounds
Holy crap are there always so many?! That's so awesome we get little bambies here but never those guys!
Can't see the pic 86 It's not illegal to shoot from the porch, but it's darn loud in the house. GG, those are Cascade Elk, no bambis there, the calves were upwards of 300 pounds. Those elk are about the size of a moose. I started counting as soon as I saw the herd. I got to 50 and then something spooked them and 20 or so took off away from the main herd. This is the first time I've seen a whole herd down this low. Every so often there are a few bulls or a stray/ostracized cow and calf, but not a whole herd. My youngest cat didn't know WTF was going on: I saw these one day, these are the coast range elk. They are just a tad smaller at 750-850 pounds and inhabit the western side of the valley:

I agree. Whenever I contemplate buying a similar make/model I use his truck as a baseline for what I'm looking for.
