Happy late turkey day! Dan and I got Indian food instead of doing the turkey thing. I'm not a huge fan of turkey so I didn't miss it.
There's an Indian food place 30 miles down the road in Medford that i want to try. It all sounds like a good alternative to traditional holiday foods.
I make a turkey that might change your mind. I brine it overnight in a salty/brown sugary ice bath, and roast it with aromatic apple, onion, sage, rosemary... So moist we could cut it with a plastic fork.
we just had our 3rd thanksgiving. deep fried turkey. mmmmmmmmmmmm I knew when they were leading at halftime that they were going to lose. you guys are the 1st half national champions team and worst 2nd half team ever.
Haha that's the damn truth. We can only play half a game. Been that way for as long as I can remember, but still it was a close game. also, fried turkey is awesome. Bought a deep fryer in anticipation for christmas
