Anyone know a good (safe) place to get one of these?... I'm helping a friend fix their laptop and they need to reload the O/S but there was no recovery disk partition and they have no discs... they have the key...just I have no way to load it...

So Windows 7 is 'officially' cracked and has no problems updating I assume? (my computer couldn't even run it if it tried, haha)
950... I saw links to cracked torrents... but I didn't need a cracked one...just a copy of an OEM...they have a key and everything....
Wow.. I could open the link at Starbucks to download it but it was going to take like 5 hours... now I'm at my parents and it won't open... WTF???
OEM I also need an uncracked version...i have activation key and everything just need one to download and burn to a disc to boot from
All windows 7 copies can be downloaded directly from microsoft now, if you have a valid key then that is the way to go.
I was actually wondering about this recently. My netbook with W7 obviously didn't come with a restore disk, it doesn't have a restore partition either, and I've been thinking about doing a reformat...
cracked yes, but you have to watch the updates as some mess the crack up and good to know you can get isos officially from microsoft now (cracked versions don't activate with all oem machines at work it seems)
i thought there were a couple more after sp1? some customers with cracked versions at work ALWAYS "recheck" it then it becomes a real pain...
Anyone know if I can also get a copy of vista home premium this way via digital river, have a laptop that would benefit from a clean installs and mothers can't be trusted to keep thing they should....
now why wont ms do this with all past windows? allow us to download the oem or retail images.. as long as we got a key
Can't find any. This is your next best option: https://www.google.com/search?q=en_windows_vista_x86_dvd_X12-34293.iso
The install DVD can be modified so it will install any version of 7. Then put it on a thumb drive and install.
