Hey guys I had to share this. After seeing these posts by Crowebaby I had a good idea, so I asked her to make me something for James K's birthday. His birthday was yesterday by the way... I knew time was close and I was flying today to visit my family (James drove up a few days earlier), so I had her ship the gift to my mom's house directly. I arrived around 10 PM and opened the Priority Mail box as soon as I got to their house. Inside the gift was even wrapped! So I threw it to James and said happy birthday. He was confused how the timing worked, but opened it up to find: He was so happy and shocked. Great work Chanssee, he keeps saying how awesome it is. There was another gift in there, and a letter to me. I knew it was my Christmas present but I figured the timing was right so I opened it too: Haha! A little one for me! What a cool gift. I'm so glad I messaged you about this. Thanks again. Black mage from Final Fantasy:
Holy shit those are awesome! Serious talent there! Have you even begun to start selling them? If not I think we at tweak should hound you until you start.
Thanks guys. I sold them to a few people on Tweak, and I'll start selling them on etsy after Christmas. I'm so glad he liked it Dan, and I'm glad you liked your surprise. I almost couldn't keep it a secret. I figured you could use a desk buddy. I hope the wrapping was up to par, that shit was hard to wrap lol.
That mage looks GREAT!! Make sure you add me on Etsy when you set your store up. WE CAN BE BUDDIES!! But for real, unlike painted pickguard (which have no market because guitarists are conservative dicks) there is a market for cool handmade plushies. My girlfriend's dad makes good business through Etsy and I'd be happy to spread the word about your products. Yeah I know... I must be in the Christmas spirit or something.
Thanks, that'd be much appreciated. I know your girlfriend knits, there are some great patterns out there for the plushies, just have her sign up to Ravelry.com and look up "free knitted Amigurumi" a lot of people have free patterns on their blogs too . If I played guitar regularly, I'd buy a custom pick guard. But I can't justify buying something I would hardly use. Maybe my New Years Resolution will be to ace my guitar skills. You know where my PM box is Coleman and GOG, if you guys still want hats, let me know. Sorry it took so long to get to you, I was just trying to get all the Christmas pressies on time.
I know you guys are gonna give me shit for this, but I made a sweater for my dog lol. She was cold and didnt want to go outside, so I made her warm
Sorry you feel that way, but when your dog is shivering when she goes outside and she wont even pee, you'll do anything. Thank you sir I'm gonna make my cat a chicken costume.
Some dogs just aren't suited for colder temperatures. As stupid as they look, sometimes doggie sweaters are functional. With that said, I'd never get a small dog like that to dress up. I live in the north, I need a good-sized and hardy dog for my climate.
Haha I know I know, I understand that part...if it's a small dog. But I mean when people put sweaters on them any time of the year I just want to punch them in their genitals.
Unfortunately we can't have a big dog in this house These two suit our needs. Gog, I will try my best to do that mole one. We'll see what I come up with
