I started dating this awesome girl about 6 months ago and I want to do a great job with Christmas presents. She did an awesome job for my gifts on my birthday on August 26th and I need to return the favor. I need any GOOD ideas you guys/girls have for me. I would like to spend around $300 but that can stretch. She ALREADY HAS the following: digital camera, ipod, new 50inch flatscreen, laptop, blackberry, She is also going to be moving into a new apartment in 7 months or so, so i want to hold off on kitchen stuff etc... I was thinking of a blue ray player with blue ray dvds or surround sound speakers.... I know i am listing mostly all electronic stuff.....I havent found any earrings, bracelets or necklackes I like. Maybe a weekend away? Let me know of any ideas or topics..
What are her interests and outside of work activities? Also, despite the fact that she's got a bunch of tech stuff already, you should look outside gadgety dude stuff if you really want to rock Christmas gifts.
last year i took my girl to a hotel for a few days in the wisconsin dells, she loved it. we got comped a sweet, i think we spent 2 nights there. she loved it so much that she said i didn't have to buy her a gift for the rest of the year, and i got to enjoy it too! go that way man. this year i'm taking her to dc

I guess ti depends how much you're willing to put down on a gift. I dont think a blu-ray player is going to even out to a weekend away together. Without knowing anything about her, I'd recommend a weekend getaway somewhere. It's more meaningful and memorable. Take lots of pictures, have a nice dinner, bone. Trust me, it's better than an unwrapping and setting up a blu-ray player.
no gift cards no more gadgets no clothes no jewelry - shoes/boots -perfume -emergency kit for her car - buy her some self defense classes for you both.. go together, have fun, learn how to protect yourselves (especially for herself) - get her a taser, or some self defense weapon - find a local bath spa and get her pampered (sounds lame and unoriginal, but women like to be pampered) - take a peek at her hair styling tools and see if she needs an upgrade or replacement - a definate getaway to the nearest happening city, take her shopping there, eat out, fuck, whatevers... - make something for her.. even if you cant paint.. canvas+oils/acrylic+brushes=fun and personal expression towards her. - if her car doesnt have an mp3 player aux adapter installed.. goto the local car audio shop and get one installed for her so she can connect her ipod or mp3 player up directly without the hassles of CDs and shit. - if you know her style.. buy her a purse my best advice.. dont try to compete with her in gift giving.. it'll just leave you broke in the end. and youre only 6months in. i dont wanna sound like a cheapskate but i'd put a 100-200 limit on her and make the best of it. The less you spend and the more you make of it, the more impressed she'll be. Impression.. lol and dont spend more on her than your own mom.
Torx has got some solid suggestions. If she's like most women she's not going to want electronics. If you feel comfortable about her taste in jewelry then I personally would go that route. If not, the weekend getaway is a good idea. Or a trip to the spa. Chocolates, scented candles and oils, baskets, etc.

My boyfriend comes up with presents by listening to what I've been talking about. It's always nice to get a present you really use too. What brands does she usually wear? Does she wear jewelry everyday? Is she into games and movies? (PS3 n 360 have netflix, and PS3 covers bluray too) OO, and if you go on a trip like other people mentioned, take hella pics and then put them in an album or something. Not everyone does that Mostly I think you can come up with something really nice by just listening (I'm sure you already do).
