    Haha, awesome.

No, no. I think I quoted the most important part. It's time to move on Tassia, he could never fully love you if he supported a ticket with Palin on it. :(

I wish I was in a state that was voting a Prop 8-like amendment. I'm disappointed that it passed. :(

I don't know a lot about Cal politics but maybe letting millions of Catholics migrate into the state to do jobs nobody else wants might be a bad thing for issues like prop 8

FOX news certainly wastes no time painting a negative image.

As much as I dislike fox I don't think they are doing anything other than reporting the reality. Obama will definitely have a tough time ahead.

True...but if this was a victory for McCain, the headlines wouldn't be so glum.

don't you guys mean "fixed" news :)

best quote of last night from fox news was right after obama won and the anchor goes "not that it matters, but obama just took florida". they all looked like they were ready to cry.

Hardly. Nobody could suck balls and completely turn against the principles (at least in theory) of their own party as much as Bush.

$700B bailout passed by a conservative?! Get the fuck out of here, Bush.

PS- I didn't really care who won. I think they're both fine choices.

McCain was a totally different person back in 2000. And what are you talking about McCain was full hard on on the bailout as well. He's totally fiscal neocon?

its been like 2-3 days now and ive only watched snippits of news, even cnn.. and everyones already jumping on his case about we want change NOW!

like, some black woman who cant afford her house is expecting obama to fix shit within a few months so she can get her home financials back in order... im sitting there like.. WTF

then the news outlets are going to stress the fuck out of him with "wheres the change? all these promises, we dont see changes" and its gonna be a couple weeks after inauguration. we can expect the repub party to be on his back 24/7 watching his every move like clinton to catch a menial fuckup.

not only are we going to have impatient supporters, but also the "bush burdens" AND repub/anti obama crowds to stress him the fuck out.. that black hairs gonna be grey as hell come a couple more months... watch

Obama himself claimed it may take his whole term to start the progress to fix what the Bush regime did.

I can see it now... stocks are down 50% from where they were a year earlier, chaos is afoot with foreign policy and slowly being cleaned up, then they catch him getting a hummer from some intern and it's front-page newspaper headline material, leading to impeachment. :D

    I believe it!

it makes me sad that some people dont understand macroeconomics to the point where they think change can occur in a month or two.

it also makes me sad that I KNOW my fellow republicans will ride his ass like no tomorrow. even though I voted for the other guy, I think Obama has a real chance to get some things changed and shake up capital hill.

Did you all catch his press conference this afternoon?

We learned that the White House dog will not be a mutt like Obama! (Obama's own words, more or less!). What a crowd of economic advisors! Even Warren Buffet attended by speakerphone. You can tell which one Robert Reich is! He's the shortest one of the bunch! LOL!!!!

I'm not sure he could have gone anyway. It looked to be turned into a circus if he did, though I'm not sure if this rumor has any actual truth to it, despite hogging the first page of google hits with endless forum links to this one post...

As for the rest, Obama and family will be having a private memorial service for her, and the time and date for this will not be, or have not been, announced.

i skimmed through it and got the gist of it. and hes right.

    //cliffs notes//
the lazy fucks in the black community that now think a black man in office is going to save the day and make everyone rich overnight needs to think again.

hes a president that represents ALL OF US not just the "brothers" not just "black people", ALL OF US. So dont expect a handout just because youre black now.

Yup, sittin' 'round da crib, eatin' bon-bons and waiytin on yer check, needs to be a thing of the past, not for blacks, but whites and browns too. How did a "hand up" turn into a "hand out" anyhow? The agencies know who is a carreer welfare recipient and who's just a short period case.
