I'm in the same boat. My dumbass needed glass for academy upgrades and didn't look at marble needs for upgrade so my colony mines glass...real f'n smart of me. So now I have sulfur and glass and nobody has marble nearby...two colonies stuck because I can't find any fuckin marble! Edit: I'm one level away from the embassy level 3 so I can start the T3D alliance so if anyone has marble to sell/trade let me know (or if the alliance is created before then nevermind).

wtf, so i expanded to another island that had crystal and built some buildings and even expanded my town hall to level 3 and i still cant get my people to mine for crystal or wood. for example, I have no slider bar: what am i doing wrong?
I've already lost interest in this game. First to post below me gets about 50k gold and 10k in sulfur and wood.

Yeah, I'm still playing because it require so little time, but there's really nothing you can do. I'm to the point where I'm not seeing anything new and I've built all I can build. The only thing left to do is upgrade, but it doesn't serve any purpose since it's not towards any goal.
I can't seem to find a balance between making money and having an army. I just fired almost all of my military because I was losing money on upkeep. If you have Wine I'll send you plenty of sulphur as I don't have any real military plans.
I just wanted to share my 3 town names: This game gets better and better. I just figured out how awesome the spys are. This game is beginning to become a lot of work now that I have 3 towns but fuck If I am going to just cut loose this game after spending a few weeks on it.
There are a few big towns that wait till you log off to attack. Fucker. Im going to build up an epic sized army when he is gone and just spend all my money and time raping him. Im at a point I just don't care I was gone for a week a while ago, I came back with like 80k. So I am not doing too bad for money. I can sell wine pretty easily for 15g+ so I don't have much money issues so far.
